in-person Yoga & meditation at Bloom yoga studio
I view yoga simply as a practice that enables students to take care of all aspects of their connected selves. It broadens the possibilities of how we move and exist in the world. During my classes, I aim to inspire a sense of curiosity about the mind-body connection and help establish new neural connections. This involves unlearning habitual patterns of being and embracing one’s wholeness through the exploration of movement, breath, and meditation practice.
My teaching style incorporates both traditional yoga and contemporary movement practices with a strong emphasis on mindfulness. These practices are designed to empower students to uncover their inner resources and power.
My meditation offerings are informed by Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Self-Compassion Meditation, The Power of Awareness, and The Realization Process®.
My yoga journey is a continuous learning experience that involves gaining insight from my daily practice as well as from my students. I continue to refine my teaching style by learning from functional movement educators, sports medicine doctors, therapists, and experienced yoga and mindfulness teachers.
