welcome!

My name is Eurika Jankauskaite. I’m a somatic trauma practitioner, developmental coach, yoga & mindfulness teacher, and sound bath facilitator.

I teach people how to create a safe experience within to live with more presence, restore a sense of wholeness and connection to the body, promote self-healing, and elevate resilience to support personal, professional, and spiritual unfolding.

Our life is a continuous process of unfolding from the moment we take our first breath to the moment we take our last. It is a continuous process of becoming, experiencing, learning, growing, flourishing, and relating. It never stops. There is no end destination; it’s a journey.

The unfolding is a continuous experience of our lives.

My intention and life’s dharma is to create a true holding container for the people I work with so they can feel seen, heard, and understood. From this supported container, we can enter into the unknown in a way that is safe and includes the entirety of what it means to be an open, sensitive, and inquisitive human being. Tending to a body that sometimes aches, a heart that is sometimes in pieces, and a nervous system that can at times feel tender and shattered is vital work for all.

My story

I’m a recovering perfectionist practicing healing arts in Chicago since 2016. Like many in the field of somatic practice, I came into this work looking for healing and resolution of my own adverse life experiences.

In my lifetime, I’ve experienced a fair share of chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation that showed up in my body as a multitude of symptoms, like physical pain, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic fatigue.

My healing journey and deep interest in somatic practices began to deepen and unfold as I turned to yoga and meditation, which helped illuminate the healing wisdom of my body. As I began to listen to the voice of my own body, more things that needed to be tenderly nurtured began to surface.

The true transformation took place as I was introduced to Somatic Experiencing® therapy, positive psychology, parts work, and polyvagal theory.

I’ve learned how to soothe and self-regulate, renegotiate trauma, and shift unhealthy behavioral patterns that were all imprinted in my body. My symptoms reduced significantly. The power of somatic practices helped me rewire my entire life experience, how I see and relate to myself, those around me, and the world at large.

We are not meant to do this alone.

You are not meant to do this alone.

When we live our lives with a limited nervous system capacity, we cannot meet daily challenges and adverse experiences without feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, and alone. And that capacity continues to erode with ongoing stressors until we are left with multiple symptoms of nervous system dysregulation showing up in our body as:

Low mood and energy, reduced motivation, muscle tension, disturbed sleep, headaches, digestive problems, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and weak immune system, to name a few, and all of that without clear medical explanations.

We must cultivate body and present-moment awareness to expand our capacity and build a resilient nervous system threshold by threshold to move through life’s confrontations.

For me, my life has become about being as present as I can for this human

experience, and supporting others to do the same.

I know what it feels like to experience hopelessness, to feel stuck and think nothing will change. I also know now that it’s possible to return home to yourself and, step by step, support your nervous system’s capacity back to its sustainable and resilient state.

Mine is still expanding, and I now get to enjoy the dance of life’s ups and downs from a place of trust and safety. Our biology wants to heal and has the power to do so, and it’s my job and passion to help you create the right conditions for it to take over, auto-regulate, and flourish. I firmly believe we all have the innate capacity to heal and thrive in our lives, not just survive.

I learned how to listen to the voice of my body, and I can teach you how to do it, too.

Let’s listen to it together
